Cognac Frapin Cigar Blend XO give a tribute to subtle notes of « Rancio ». It promises memorable instants of tasting since it is combined with cigars.

Cigar Blend XO offers a mahogany colour with copper highlights.

The bouquet reveals mellow notes of vanilla and dried fruits, walnuts and hazelnuts, thanks to extended ageing in new oak barrels and the age-old expertise of the Frapin family. Very smooth, complex, balanced, subtle aromas of aged port mixed with the scent of wooden cigar boxes, typical of a Grande Champagne cognac distilled over lees.

Balance – roundness – richness. Cigar Blend XO offers an exceptionally long finish in which all the flavours combine in subtle, complex harmony. The cognac reveals a discreet vanilla note from the tannin in the wood and a harmonious bouquet with lasting aromas of spices, dried fruits and «rancio».

Absolutely superb with Honduras cigars and their characteristic aromas of honey, spices and dried fruit (Santa Rosa region in the north-west and Danley in the south). Served at room temperature, it expresses the famous “rancio” (distinctive aroma of old cognacs, appearing at 15 to 20 years of age), characterised by flavours of walnuts, hazelnuts and dried fruits combined with dried flowers.
